plopped in the palm trees

For today’s post, I just plopped myself down in the palm trees. Luckily, my front porch & backyard (actually, a shared courtyard) offer a lot of places for me to take pictures of my outfits. But despite the lovely back drops, I still feel like a boner. I have been pretty diligent in posting my daily outfits, but that doesn’t mean I don’t sometimes feel my endeavors are vacuous and insignificant. I’m sure other fashion bloggers feel the same way at times.
That being said, (I hate that transition) I’m wearing vintage Levi’s that are so high-waisted, my butt looks about as long as a horse’s face. I bought them at Flashback Vintage, in Orange, Orange County, CA approximately 10 years ago. Here, I paired em’ with a 70s vintage sienna-colored sheer shirt. I had to wear flats because these pants aren’t long enough, and wide leg pants should not also be high risers (floods). I just bought this vintage satchel bag at the thrift store. (another Lancaster score).
Happy trails to you, until we meet again ...

  3. I LOVE this outfit. That top is beautiful and cropped to just the right length to go with those high waisters.
