never too old for a babydoll dress

This dress was in my "to be mended" pile in the closet for nearly two years, and all I had to do was add some buttons. I already shortened it previously. I happily found it while sorting through clothes to sell at my garage sale. I swear, my closet is a thrift store unto itself.

I still am drawn to the cut of a babydoll dress, and I can never resist the ice cream man's jingle. This Fall has been pretty ideal thus far.

Outfit: vintage babydoll dress (thrifted), AA tights, knit beanie (hand made gift), Cole Haan lavender loafers.

  3. Haha... when I saw this title I thought - no - just too curvy! I feel a bit like a pin-up when I wear baby-doll styles. I blame my rather generous derrière - but that's ok, it serves me well in a pencil skirt! On you - it is perfection!
