I shall never tire of this delightful editorial from Elle Magazine March 2010, with styling by the talented Camille Bidault-Waddington. It's bloody brilliant, lingering in my mind like a first kiss, informing my wardrobe choices quite often. I'm going to workout right now, but what I really want to do is dress up in vintage mix-match prints and pose in front of mid century coastal hotels and pastel backdrops. the day is still young.
I totally love this editorial!!

When I just glanced at a few of these shots - they totally looked like you!
ReplyDeleteI concur thought it was you when I saw the first photo, love the mismatch of prints x
ReplyDeleteI had the same reaction to first photo too :D
ReplyDeletepage 404 is my favourite - the print mixing and those big bangles matching the shoes.. awesome
Oh my goodness, I am beyond flattered that ya'll would take me to be the model in this editorial. I do, however, love me some splatter paint & head scarfs.
ReplyDeleteHelga, I have never modeled professionally, and I really don't think I ever could. I have crooked teeth (and bucked) & they were quite yellow when I was a smoker. Plus, I have boney, retired skater feet, wrinkled elbows, some varicose veins, a freakishly tiny waist & I'm only 5"4. But thank you for your compliment. very sweet of you.
THIS IS SO YOU! Love it :)
ReplyDeleteOooh yes, this is one of my favorite editorials too. It haunts me just as much. And you DO resemble the lovely model! xo
